Το τραγούδι Five magics βρίσκεται στο άλμπουμ Rust in peace (1990),που θεωρείται,και οχι άδικα,μια απο τις καλύτερες δουλειές των Megadeth.Το συγκεκριμένο κομμάτι μιλάει για ενα τύπο που ζεί κάτω απο έναν κακό,καταπιεστή βασιλιά και θέλει να τον νικήσει για να πάρει εκείνος την θέση του.Για να γίνει αυτό ζητάει απο τους πλοίαρχους τα πέντε μαγικά,αλλα ετσι γίνεται και αυτός κακός και πεινασμένος για εξουσία.Με αυτό τον τρόπο όμως,γνωρίζοντας ήδη τα πέντε μαγικά,έχει το πλεονέκτημα να νικήσει τον αγώνα.Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που ο Mustaine χρεισιμοποιεί θέματα φαντασίας για να γράψει ενα τραγούδι.Ειδικά στο συγκεκριμένο δίσκο τα πιο πολλά τραγούδια έχουν να κάνουν με την φαντασία του Dave.
